happy new year eve to all my friends and foes. i reckon today will be a splendid one cos am on a high. i dont know why. it must be part of me feeling blessed and knowing that i have friends. managed to catch up with my dear old friend and i miss her so much! and im so excited for her too cos she has a new love interest and i wish her all the luck!
been reading LOTR and it's been great. my vocab has increased just by finishing the first book. but, of course there's more to be done, much to be learned. i cant wait to finish it as well as watching all 3 installations at one go. there's so much to know from reading the book. good triumph evil and the journey of frodo seeking peace excites me just as much as watching aaron aziz on TV. yes, i was excited to see him on TV last night and his acting skills seem to be improving a lil. although the show he was in could have been more credible. he soothes such confidence on TV, his face is TV friendly. talking about entertainment, i am quite fond of the soundtrack of Love Actually, Trouble with Love by Kelly Clarkson. The lyrics are a true reflection of what love is and how much heartache it can bring to you. love is not always nice. there was this saying that i once heard and i think it shouldnt be quoted cos it's not true. t said, "the one who really loves you will never make you cry." it's bullshit. cos i have no idea how many times all of us have been crunched to pieces and tears because of love. it's more apt to say, the one who really loves you will make you cry and laugh at the same time.
what will you be thinking about when the clock strikes 12 later? i just want to think of all the good things in life. a great career, good friends, 'forever-there' family members (whether I like it or not..) and most of all, the ability to love amidst all the hatred and troubles in the current world.
