was quite surprised to see a good number of people at the gym yesterday. after all, lotsa ppl were at orchard, celebrating the day meant for love. i was at the gym, didn't spend much time though cos i was tired. but was happy that my time has improved for my 2.4 :) i guess the hard work put in is all worth it.. ooh, the money too. it's worth it lah. i just wish that i could go with him more often like we used to.
last night, after supper at lau pa sat, we decided to go home. had to wait for a cab for soooo long until we called for one. you know, they always have this auto message thingy when you call. sometimes, asking you to hold on, thanking you for calling and all that. and then, they will play some music that if you hang on long enough, you can actually sing along with. TIBS did the song part with a difference last night as it was V-day, they decided to play some lovey dovey songs.. got rick price & that guy who sang "tears in heaven".. wahlau, listen to two songs somemore.. so, you can imagine how long we waited. my point is, i was thinking of various types of voicemail message you can create. one that i've heard personally:
"hi! either am busy or your number is private. leave a message bla bla..."
and this particular one told by saiful is so damn funny.
"hello! can you speak up? (so you try to speak up & then realise there's actually no one) hello.. (very cheerful) this is *****, your friendly reporter! leave a message bla bla..."
i am kinda tempted to use these few that i thought of.
"i must be really swarmed with work right now.. do you know how that feels? no? why not? you so free call me ah? (goes into how busy you are)"
"sorry. your call has been forwarded to no one. so no one will know you called. that's good for me. goodbye. (hang up)"
"either am busy or i just don't feel like picking up your call. don't bother leaving a message. i'll ignore it."
"sorry. am running away from my boss. leave a message if you like."
"hehehehe... (giggle) heheheh. (slurs) no, i don't want... to pick up your call. heheheheheh"
i think the last one is very irritating. it looks irritating as am writing it. maybe i'll try it myself..
i bought saiful a CD yesterday cos i remembered he wanted to listen to one of the songs on that CD. it's supposed to be a present, V-day what.. but i ripped the package open and listened to it first. must test the quality. anyway, it was good and i kinda prefer JC (wah.. JC seh. jamie cullum lah) to micheal buble.. or my friend called him the bubble guy who can sing. his voice is crystal clear and unique. i'll just wait till he gets bored with it, then i'll ask him back for it. reminds me, he has yet to return my alicia keys CD.
