so they have this method of voting for the next pope. one where they will wait for certain colour of smoke that's visible to everyone waiting outside the chapel for the answer. hmmm... it's like a sign from god. interesting. he came to singapore in 1896 1986 and kiss our grounds. we're so blessed, right? anyway, i was surfing their website and i think it's cool to see how much conviction they have in their system. some may argue about the whole world mourning for someone like pope.. i suspect that in a world filled with bush, osama, nuclear threats by north korea and LKY extreme muslims bombs, we're just sad that someone as simple-minded and passionate as pope has passed away.. yet another death to a "saviour" of the planet ape. so, different countries send out condolences and all that sad stuff. i imagine that all offices around the world have standard templates, meant for condolences, congratulations etc.. all PR needs to do is to fill out the name of the concerned party. perhaps, not ALL offices. cos i think China doesn't have one. the first time news got out that pope was on his death bed, China sent out a statement from an "anonymous foreign ministry".. so strange. anyway, i hope they find a good man to be the next pope.. i think we don't need a man to play politics anymore in the name of religion.
i've decided to just let myself go, not to be too high-strung about work and go for a holiday. yes, i've finally agreed to do so, perhaps in june. maybe it's guilt. maybe it's just that lotsa things have been going on without me stopping to take a breather. but i think it's time for that holiday. yah, who cares about spending money for a sinful break meant for the wedding. yahh.. who cares right?
going home now at 10pm is a bliss! with CSI, Desperate Housewives, O.C, Las Vegas.. TV is great nowadays man... so good..
