i've been really addicted to ray charles these past weeks. i think it's due to that lomantic genes in me. there's not much of it but still enough to scold inform my boy that it's been quite a while since we met and hang. it's been like what.. a week? a week is a loonngg excruciating time. also, cos i've been informed that i can't take any leave or holidays from now till june, i think there's only that much tolerance i can have.
i noticed that some people in the circle of my acquintances have been backlashing each other on the net. more specifically, through blogs. *sigh* been there and done that, dudes. and trust me, you don't really wanna go there. i think friendships are too precious for me or anyone of u to lose at the moment and am telling you to just drop it. it's insane and utter rubbish to be catfighting in the virtual world. or perhaps, my friends and i have grown up. yes, we have grown up and OUT of these things. ash thinks we should have high tea for my birthday. hehehe... so nice and grown up. and the strange thing is, i think it's a fantastic idea. and believe it or not, this year will be the last year of me celebrating my birthday as a "single". by next year, i will be of "married" status. so everytime i have forms to fill up and all that, i will have to cancel everything else except for "married". ha ha. what a thought!
a conversation my department had with an annoying gahmen official who happens to be chinese.
cina/chinese/yellow old ah lian: my boss is very concerned about the visit we're making on that day.(this gahmen body is planning to come to the centre with a very important puppet man) it's a friday, right.
we: is there a problem? (what do hell do you mean?)
ccyoah: i was told that you guys have a friday thing, right? a friday evening prayer or something? you have it, right? so, we're concerned that the place will be very... you know... crowded. that might be a problem.
what the hell? am amazed at the level of ignorance that this woman has about the muslims. don't you have muslim colleagues or something? but the least you can do is to ask nicely... this woman made it sound like a group of muslims congregating for friday prayers is in actual fact a group of terrorist. you scared is it? you scared that we might just come down in big groups and assault your important puppet man? typical of SERVANTS in the civil service. we should have scared her by telling her that friday prayers is the time for us to speak in foreign language so that people won't know that we're ACTUALLY planning for a big shoot out. serious--ly.
had a good time hanging with aeros recently. talking to them had always made me feel like there's a solution to everything. and for that, i thank them for their friendship and trust.
