went to watch the maid yesterday. pleasantly surprised at how well executed the story-line was. i had a feeling it would turn out like "the others" with nicole kidman and it did! i enjoyed it quite a bit cos 1)it was local without being too chinese 2)our friend was in it 3)the locations were well chosen 4)the leads were very good. i have to say that finally they've managed to get credible chinese actors for this movie. recommended if you have nothing to do over the weekends.post-edit: i knew something was not going to be right today. just my gut feel... :(
