told you i had to do maths!! so many of them for 3 straight hours. went brain dead, almost. i hope i get called up again for the next step. if not, it's ok... job really sounds very demanding.
yet to pack. yet to worry. yet to sink in the feeling that i'll be going tomorrow. this is perhaps, one of the overseas trips that i am dreading... my colleague bought whatever she could find in the pharmacy today. must stay safe. i have to get the tablets, just in case. tomorrow will start worrying about safety. did i tell you that am not covered for travel insurance at all?? it's a 3rd world country, boss. what's wrong with just paying a small premium for 2 of us? ok, stay positive
so, CJ is very very mad nowadays... sg lawyers appearantly are not doing their job well... stealing (gasp!) cheating (oh gasp!) and err.. lying? hmmm.. that's an issue with you? you mean lawyers don't lie. but.. but.. i watch it on TV all the time! they lie, what... i thought that's how lawyers earn their living? gift of the liar, liar, pants on fire gap. ntah eh... it's supposed to be a job that's full of integrity and all that shit but look at our lawyers today.. stealing for $180 worth of things??!! wahh.. economy that bad ah? no clients is it? that's strange. i mean, look at the frequency of murder cases, stealing (oh... that lawyer included), hit and run (and denying it) and law-suits... shouldn't our crime labs and lawyers be busy? hmmm... she must have picked up the wrong cases then. i wonder if lawyers still do pro-bono nowadays. CJ, maybe there's something that's screwing up the system? your lawyers... hahahah.
i don't think i will like the idea of cedar being co-ed any time soon. i've always been proud that i went to an all girls' school. even more so from cedar. it'll be sad if MOE confirms the change for VS. it was my favourite all boys school, after all. such history, such glory.... it's painful to know that your school that you've always taken pride in will change its traditions altogether. i empathise.
