you wouldn't believe some of the things that were mentioned in the class yesterday. full-pledged mats and minahs who seem to have problems with their partners one way or another. eh... kalau tak suka each other, asal kahwin? i hate to think that malays are simply like that but yesterday's session was a total disappointment to me. you're talking about guys and girls who are supposed to me someone's husband/wife and yet, with the kind of language that was uttered, i hope and pray that their marriage will last long. i tried my best to stay awake and interested but... sorry god folks. for those of you who went through an enjoyable class, i wish i was in your position. yup, there was interaction... err.. solving puzzles? a peek into the kind of senseless conversation some of the mats came up with:

lecturer: so give me an example of a responsibility of the wife?
mat: procreate
lecturer: explain yourself? like how woman suppose to procreate?
mat (shouting): ala... push the baby out ah!

another example:

lecturer, while explaining about communications between husband & wife. couple was role-playing: ok, so how do you handle such problems in communicating?
mat (shouting again): don't like, don't marry ah!

does he even know how ridiculous he sound? the wife to be must have seen something very special in him. people like me would have to look harder to find that special something in a person like him. and it wasn't just the mats. some of the girls too had problems "communicating". like hello... you ask stupid questions like "am i fat?" and when the guy does not give you a good answer, you think that's a communication problem? and guys prefer to talk about soccer is a problem too? i don't get it. shouldn't it be about knowing your partner's likes and dislikes? participating in each other's life? even if you dislike soccer, at least pretend to like it. i don't have to. thiery henry is enough to make me interested in EPL for as long as he's around.

oh well.. in short, we were bored for half the lessons yesterday and i kept myself busy by playing games in my palm till it died while the boy slept. we discussed on some essentials we learned from the course just before we went home. ironed out some issues but all's well. in fact, the boy remembered that today was the day we got engaged. knowing the boy, it really is an effort remembering such things. and for that, i promise *********. :)

the movie by eric khoo has something that's special about it. i can't put down to what it is. but it was one movie that gave me a fuzzy feeling in my tummy. maybe it was the lime? never knew that silent movie can be engaging.
